De Bruyne?

He could actually wave his loyalty bonus and contribute to this move if he really wanted to as fernandinho did

The thing is he isn't desperate. He knows if he has another top season he will as good as move to one of the Spanish clubs or Bayern at the end of it and still get his loyalty bonus. He isn't a City fan or a footballer trying to escape a no mark league so why would he lose a reported 10 million?

Absolute nonsense.

Quote me.

I constantly said in respect of Sterling that we needed to be wary of being seen as weak in negotiations as it would only hamper us when we approached Wolfsburg for De Bruyne and Juve for Pogba.

I wasn't happy in the way it dragged on, but that doesn't mean I wanted us to simply cave into Liverpool's demands.

Your comment is a total joke coming from a mod.

Are you going to give @Rammyblues a warning for the personal insult by the way? I got one a couple weeks back for having a pop at the Stoke fan.
Serious question then.

How do you believe we could have done our negotiating differently to achieve a better result on the Sterling transfer, and how could we have approached the KDB transfer differently as well?

His posts ensure we can't come out of it well
During the sterling transfer he would either complain we were dragging our feet and be king feckless, repeated now, and on other days he would claim we should just spend the money and get it sorted.
So whichever we do he has the opportunity to criticise the management for either being weak in giving in, or being slow at sorting out transfers if we get him for less.

Whilst conveniently forgetting that it would be a superb window if we were able to buy both Sterling and de Bruyne in one window who were the best players at their respective clubs with no need to sell.
What's his post count?

Some fans have unreasonable expectations. Even if he were a City fan, he shouldn't give up his income to help the club. The club is wealthy enough, if they think he is worth it, they will pay, and if not, he will stay where he is.

This will drag on until deadline day, mark my words. Otamendi will sign before De Bruyne.

It may do but if we get him he will be a brilliant addition. I am as frustrated as the next person but these things can't be easy to negotiate when dealing with a top player under contract.Modern players now have all sorts of image rights, loyalty bonuses etcetera to plough through.

Do you need a fanny wipe?

Seriously though. You moan it drags on. You moan we over pay.

Just how the fuck would you get these transfers over the line? The only way we managed was by tapping up the player so the team had to sell. I'd love to know your theory?
