De Bruyne?

anyone reckon there could be a suprise deal on top of the ottamendi and de bruyne deals?

Call me greedy like however, after these two have signed i'd be very disappointed not to get a nice surprise on the final day
of the transfer window. Nothing worse than taking a days holiday, sitting in front of the tv watching sky sports news as
they cross over to the etihad to see the reporter all alone with all the fooking lights out behind him. *note for next transfer window final day "Don't fooking bother"

Whether - and if so at what price - Wolfsburg Bundesliga club can draw its Belgian Offensive Star, but remains open. Manager Klaus Allofs believes it is possible that the remaining exchange-Rummel stretches until the end of the transfer window.

For a final decision in matters of De Bruyne "there is a natural limit," said Allofs on Wednesday against the WAZ, "and that is August 31," the day on which the transfer period ends. To push for more rapid clarity, is not necessary. "Because we do not have the impression that it sports a negative impact on Kevin," said Allofs.

That De Bruyne wants to leave, should not only have financial reasons - at Manchester City, he could at 16 million euros in the year to earn the VfL offers him an increase in references to about 11 million euros. The 24-year-olds it also provides to the sporting perspective. With Manchester City and other interested parties, he sees the greater chance to play a prominent role also in the Champions League.

That De Bruyne these arguments (still) does not comment publicly, the VfL is a bit radical hope: Apparently the offensive star is unwilling to force a change with public discontent-expressions, accordingly had expressed his advisers already in the past week ( WAZ) reported.

The question remains: At what sum of VfL is weak? Somewhere at 80 million euros or more is supposed to be the threshold of pain. A firm offer, so Allofs on Wednesday there is not. But: "We are in contact with his advisor, we know very well informed of what might come here ..."

Who do people think has a better front 6? Without your City hat on.

Aguero
Sterling/Silva/De Bruyne
Touré/Fernandinho

vs

Costa
Hazard/Oscar/Pedro
Matic/Fabregas

I don't think there is any doubt about that really. Don't rate Oscar that much tbh, hit and miss. Pedro is good but I find him very one dimensional, he's like a better version of Navas, but very similar in terms of being out and out wingers with plenty of speed. Costa is not a patch on Aguero and nowhere near as dangerous and tbh I don't get all the hype surrounding Matic. Good player, but he's very limited IMO. Does a good job for the team and works very hard off the ball and good tactical awareness, but on the ball, Fernandinho shits all over him. Yaya on his game is the best CM in the country and when comparing Silva with Hazard, although they are close, I wouldn't ever dream of swapping Silva for Hazard. De Bruyne if he joins is more complete than Pedro as well, although Pedro scores a fair share of goals, I feel that De Bruyne's vision/awareness/technique is far greater.

I think with the additions of Otamendi and KDB hopefully, our first 11 will be the best in the country.
