Why would they prefer him to go to Bayern and strengthen a domestic rival?
It would've been like us trying to get Dzeko to sign for Chelsea rather than Roma

Thats German league for you. They are all happy to feed Bayern, as long as talent stay in league and doesnt go away. Somehow they think it makes league stronger this way.

I am a little surprised why if when he signs there has to be a delay in announcing it after the protracted negotiations,just get it announced!
