De Bruyne?

we're the ones asking for an unreasonable return for a 29 y/o inconsistent striker with high wages and a lot of time left on his contract.

With the way edin plays he will easily be a leading striker in Italy until he's 34 so £20 mill for a for a prover striker for 5 years is good business to me, also just to point out his goal per minute ratio is still 1 of the best in the premier league.

DE BRUYNE GOING NOWHERE'

Wolfsburg sporting director Klaus Allofs insists Kevin de Bruyne will not be leaving the club this summer.

The Belgian has been linked with a move to Manchester City, but Allofs said: "We expect Kevin de Bruyne to be with the team for the Super Cup and afterwards during the season, that’s the plan, to keep our players here.

"That’s not just the case for De Bruyne, but also Ivan Perisic, Bas Dost and Ricardo Rodriguez. These are all players who have been named in speculation."
Yeah it's "we expect" and until someone makes an official bid they'll keep on expecting him to be playing. Manager saying different makes you suspect he knows he's going if the price is right

Chelsea our first home game would have been ideal to have us at full pelt with all new signings bedded in.

something is going to happen, with jovetic n dzeko both on the verge of leaving we simply cannot go into the season without a balanced squad.

@bluemoon98 Tank you. Well, this is a bit amusing now. I just checked Bild, kicker, Sport1, spox, a huge german football forum and can't find this quote anywhere. Even if I use Google, nothings appears. So maybe our journalists are all sleeping right now, or this quote is just wrong. Let's see if any paper in Germany runs the story tomorrow.
