I think he's playing the old 'you may as well accept the bid or I'll pretend I'm injured' card. There's no way a slight back injury would keep him out of the German Super Cup if he wanted to stay.

EDIT: Looks like he might still play if he's training after all.
 
I noticed the team is flying to Germany today for their game over the weekend....anyone know if Txiki has joined them? Would be interesting to see if he's gone to continue talks with Wolfsburg in Germany....

That raises a question I'm not sure about we know Txiki's job is to identify players and get players and agents on side, probably negotiate wages. Is it his job to negotiate with other clubs over fees and payment terms or is that more Soriano and legal peoples job? Genuine question as both these deals could be at a stage where Txiki isn't really involved.
 
Hopefully with Jovetic off the books we'll see some progress with this. God knows it's overdue.
