I find the concept of fixing every possible problem with the team, in one transfer window, & panicking if it doesn't happen, bizarre. Even after you have tried several times to fix other positions, in other transfer windows, & it doesn't necessarily work, this time it will. Of course that would be wonderful if it was so easy, but it just doesn't happen. Occasionally, a club has a great window & finds several players who go straight into the team & fix a couple of weak spots, but how often ? Usually, maybe one player really kicks in, & the others take a year to settle, or never do.
We have a huge player in Sterling, & maybe are going to get one or two more. Maybe then we get one for a different position in the next window & he turns out a success, etc.
It might be the case, that Chelsea or whoever are better than us next season. That's just life. not a reason for mass suicide or sacking everyone. Just try to continue improving from there.
