De Bruyne?

Blackburn must have been briefed by us if he says we're going to make an offer. De Bruyne's comments are a massive come and get me plea. Hope we move quick

Sean.....can you link his comments about making a bid mate? couldnt find them when I looked.......thanks

@z_mays still live, still hopeful. I believe they will up stumps and declare if they get KdB. But there's four weeks left yet....

@Ash_Davo no. we were told on tour that they'd be happy with just one more ie de bruyne. Four weeks left yet mind.

I hope that's just a negotiating tactic for Juve's benefit.

As we all know Txiki and Khaldoon don't discuss transfers which although keeps us in the dark ,but is prob the correct way to do transfer business HOWEVER if we do no more business should we expect Khaldoon to explain why the plan to invest in quality to move us on this summer has not been realized

the article was on City Watch but I'm not sure how to post the picture, and I don't want to post a link after Ric's recent message. Blackburn states were going to make a bid in excess of £40m, which ties in with Ric saying a deal will be done around £46m. I'd imagine Blackburn has been briefed by the club, as he's good for City related news.

thanks mate!;)

You'll want to delete that pic mate. It's not much different from copying and pasting the article, which Ric and the moderators have advised against.

I wonder if the delay is due to the lack of foreign spots we have available.

Now Jovetic's gone and once Dzeko goes, I think we'll see more movement on the De Bruyne front.

If your criticising now, you're being a bit disingenuous

We're half way through the transfer window and we have broken our own transfer record in buying Sterling who represents a significant improvement, and we've also brought in Delph and Roberts who is about the most exciting player in his age group.

If a Chelsea or Arsenal had been spending £100 million on top players I'd understand the impatience but if you go through our competitors and look through the buys and sales, I'd say City have made more progress than anyone else. Dzeko & Jovetic will be big name departures but contributed very little last season. Their departure means some of the kids will get a chance and I think they will offer more because those two were either permanently injured or demotivated.
