De Bruyne?

Good point. But what is with the username Neville kneville?

I'd personally rather keep Nasri, I don't understand the hate he gets, and the perception he is a bottler.

Who scored a vital late winner against Chelsea to keep us on track in 2012?
Who scored the winner in the League Cup Final when we were playing like total numpties?
Who scored from 20 yards against Roma to get us out of the CL group stages?
Who was consistently brilliant throughout the whole of 2013/14 until he was hacked down and injured?

It was Samir fucking Nasri and he is not objectively miles worse than a Chelsea reject who has had one (admittedly brilliant) season? I'd rather save the money and spend it on our midfield and defence.
Who scored the opener with a cracking shot in our last 2013/14 season match when we needed a win to guarantee a place as league winners when the Big Sam assured all that he'd try to derail our title hopes for Stevie G's sake and made good his word by lining up a hard-to-crack 3 man central defence and almost achieved his goal until Nasri broke the ice. While Samir is not the perfect player, his quality is very much okay for a city squad player. Navas is not city quality, guys.
I even recall when Silva was out injured for a protracted period in 2013/14, Samir stepped up and delivered absolutely. Let's be careful what we wish for.

This is not really true, especially if you iclude balls delivered from free kicks etc.

The statisticians have churned the numbers for the Premier League, Serie A, Bundesliga and Ligue 1. I was surprised but how low the number of corners to goals was. Not only that but the number of corners that led to shooting/headed chances and also follow ups like free kicks.

I'm not making a definitive statement but the 'experts' are so apparently it is really true ;-)

It might be as a percentage, but look at the games v the rags in recent years as examples, & the importance of corners influencing the outcome.

DeBruyne I think, could have an effect on that.

He cemented his place in the Bottlers Hall of Fame the day he ducked out of the wall against the rags to let Van Persie score the winner in injury time at our place.
