De Bruyne?

Karen's arse & De Bruyne signing on the same day? What a time to be alive!!

We've heard from De Bruyne and the Wolfsburg sporting director already today, and now it's the turn of the Belgian's agent to discuss his future.

The 24-year-old dropped a hint that he will depart this summer, while Klaus Allhofs indicated it was "unlikely" he would stay at the club but the latest from his agent may be the most revealing.

Here is what Patrick De Koster had to say on his client to Guardian Sportthis morning:

“It is a question for Wolfsburg but we are expecting some progress in the coming days,” he revealed.

“At this stage we have not heard anything about an offer but that could change at any time.

“I have a good relationship with (City’s director of football) Txiki Begiristain and he knows what is required.

“When you see the amount that Chelsea are being told they have to pay for John Stones then it’s obvious what kind of price we are talking about.”

“There is an agreement between both parties that we will wait and see what happens.

“We have a very strong relationship with Klaus Allofs and if the time comes then we will sit down and talk about a new contract.”

This has made my Friday.

So do I. A top class central midfielder and just what we need. He will be dishing out a lot of humble pie in May, I believe.

One positive we will get from him is his willingness to put the ball in the box from the midfield area. He manages to almost float the ball to it's target with a lot of height a curl which allows the striker to really attack the ball and get the jump on his marker. He played it quite often at Villa for Benteke who used to peel off the back of the defender. Bony will thrive on that sort of delivery as he is used to that supply at Swansea. He'll also have De Bruyne and Sterling going past markers and putting the ball across to him. Should get a lot of goals this season. Delph is similar to Fernandinho in that he's a very good all round midfielder without excelling at one particular aspect. He will run all game to close down the opposition and that should see us get the best out of our attacking players.

Dying to see Rag Sports News do their bullshit "how KDB compare's to City's other midfielders". You can guarantee his time in Chelsea will be all they'll look at.

Wolfsburg admit Kevin de Bruyne could leave
Wolfsburg's sporting director Klaus Allofs has been speaking about the future of Manuel Pellegrini's prime transfer target, and it's good news City fans!

Because there is an admission that the Belgium international is unlikely to stay at the club until the end of his contract, which expires in 2019.

Allofs had previously said the 24-year-old was "99.9 per cent" likely to stay at the Volkswagen Arena, but he appears to have changed his tune.

"If the contract would run only until 2017 - then it would be decisive," he admitted to WAZ.

"But we are honest: it is rather unlikely that he will stay with us until 2019.

"So the length of the deal does not play any major role. Of course I hope that we develop internationally so that elsewhere there are not many better opportunities for a player to improve."

The midfielder has said he will not force Wolfsburg to sell him and Allofs doesn't expect him to hand in a transfer request.

"Kevin has not yet come to me and I'm also assuming that he will not come."
Oh yes in-fuckin-deedy
