It's probably his agent on behalf of city as we are not technically allowed to talk directly to the player without making a formal bid, which we would have heard about if it had happened yet.

I don't see why his agent would tell him to be quiet for any other reason.

It's no secret we're interested, along with PSG and Bayern. His agent telling him to keep quiet is just good sense. He gains nothing by showing his hand in any direction. It doesn't have to be coming from us.

Really? At worst its neutral. The positive is perhaps he has told to be quiet as a deal is near as many seem to think not least Tolmie and more recently Ric.
