De Bruyne?

It's not like the Sterling transfer, where bids were leaked to the press and formally rejected. We're negotiating with Wolfsburg privately, and obviously they want to secure the best fee possible so it takes time. I think he'll be a City player by this time next week though.

That gut instinct or itk Ric

Soooo 800+ pages of ITK conjecture and discussion and you think "...probably that means City aren't interested in him"

Okey Dokey

All i read into that article was that Wolfsburg are trying to assert their 'ownership' and basically stating even if you have an agreement with the player/agent, it's up to us if he goes. And the agent trying to speed shit along.

I think it actually would mean that neither Zucculini or Kelechi could play in the champs league. There's a thread in the Bluemoon forum that covers the variables. However Neville Kneville pointed out that in the PL squad, Zucculini counts as under 21 so doesn't need to be registered so he wouldn't take a spot.
I'll need to read that thread. So to get 1 player in we need to get rid of 2. But to get another player in, we wouldn't have to get rid of another. Doesn't quite make sense - I'll have a look at the other thread.

Sorry for stupid question.....Why would his agent leave our name out if we were interested?...adding our name to the list would push bidding higher, so no reason not to mention us???

DeBruyne's agent on interest: "Don't have to mention the names, everybody knows it's PSG & Bayern." MCFC oddly left out. via @gustav_tornby
He said " other clubs". That means other than City.
He's just trying to push the price up.

On a more positive note at least if we do sign KDB we would not have to worry about him or his agent mouthing off. They seem like very decent people which is refreshing these days!
