De Bruyne?

Are we pronouncing his name De Broyner?

Here's my attempt if we are.......to the rags jizz jazz tune, and a dig at them.

We got De Bruyne
And Otamendi
Sterling,Delph,Patrick Roberts and Unal
You went for Pedro
Who fucked off pronto
Snubbed again,snubbed again,snubbed again

Sorry.

Werent bild behind the stunt at the awards ceremony, their credibility isnt great at the mo they seem to have gone the same way as the british press and are more concerned by the amount of clicks a story gets than actual news

Well, whatever happens, we know the Rags aren't going to swoop in and steal him because we are now a bigger club in football terms. Man, does that not feel great!?

I do mate. I watch us a lot, at every level.

I'm obviously exaggerating a little by saying Zabaleta was 'shit' last year, but he was certainly no better than Sagna, if not a little worse. We all (rightly) love Zaba, so I think we were easy to dismiss his efforts last season. He was bang average to poor. Slow, out of position, easily beaten. He looked fucked. There was no way he outperformed Sagna. My point is, if we're willing to give Zaba a year off, then we should excuse Sagna too who had the horrendously difficult task of rarely playing to get any consistency. Plus he played in a terrible backline as well.

Both are very, very good. Both should be considered equals as they go for the shirt this year. That is genuinely all I was saying :)

Edit - back on topic. De Bruyne is good.
No de Bruyne is a much needed missing link on the right, outstanding ability and awareness with or without the ball

They're one of the most unreliable sources in Germany so I wouldn't really pay any attention to what they say

Yes, check it out in the video. Go to 0:04. It's more like "De Broyne", there is not "r" in the pronounciation.

I wonder if we'll manage to do a Sterling style breakdown of payments. £50m up front with £6m in potential add-ons or something to that degree.
Was just thinking this. But the rag slaves media will quote any add-ons in the main fee.

It'll be up to £60 mill soon. They don't really want or need to sell so I expect them to keep jerking us around until we walk away. Then they'll sell for whatever the last insane price was we offered. Can't blame them really, until the player starts forcing the issue, they hold all the cards.
Then why we're they flapping after ceremony-gate the other night? Personally I think you might be right about dragging on for another week or so but maybe they want to run out of window and keep the money stashed.

To the tune of ABBA's "Does your mother know"

Kev De Bruyne,

Teasin' me,

So your blue but i can't take a chance on a ginge like you,

that's what Mourine couldn't do.

None of us can know what motivates other people's behaviour. But if I own something I want to keep and have a filthy rich buyer desperate to own it I'd string them along until they were right up against the deadline and then take them to the cleaners.

Sort of like what Everton did with The Belgian Bog Brush.

Seems like a really nice lad on that Chelsea video and the type of guy who'll be good to have around the place. Also appears like he's a bit of a Silva-esque character who's confidence comes through his ability on the football pitch.

I have this sick gut feeling that the Rags may make a play for him for some strange reason. Please, City, let's tie this up ASAP!!!

There's a degree of risk there. City could walk away and spend our money elsewhere, leaving Wolfsburg with an unhappy player.
