As much as I dislike Kia, I think city let this one slip. For one there is no negative angle against city, Kia would have found a way to twist and as things are it doesn't really increase his bargaining position. I reckon City are hinting to clubs that he is available for the right price and not coming outright and saying we want him gone in the summer which would significantly decrease his transfer value.

If Ive read it right, the 100k offer he turned down was last season, maybe recently the offer is significantly less.
It doesn't really add anything to what has already been said, but I am staggered he could turn down that much money. I reckon you're right and he was offered the 100k at the beginning of the season. Whilst I disagree, I can understand his reasoning for bargaining for more as at that time as he was a key player. If that's the case he's messed up big time cos now I doubt he'll get over 80k - that's being generous i'd imagine - anywhere else if he's lucky.
