His passing is top notch, hes a tidy footballer, he protects the defence superbly, hes very classy on the ball, so strong, he's a very intelligent player who reads the game superbly, hes a big game player and he gives City so much penetration. Without De Jong, we lack urgency and steel and any team in the Prem would love to have him. If you cannot see that, then De Jong really has knobbed your bird.
Ok, in reference to what you have said, and for the benefit of Swales:
From my point of view, I am of the opinion that, although I understand that you might not share this view, De Jong reads the game well and is good on the ball, however he is easily bypassed (due to his lack of pace) and does not make enough tackles, he often slows down our attacks as he very rarely plays a risky pass (this is not necessarily I negative), I don't believe he is that strong either.
I apologize if I have forced my OPINION on you.
Lack of pace? De Jong does not lack pace at all. Thats absolute nonsense. He is quicker than Tom Huddlestone, Lucas Leiva and Javier Masherano. He is one of the quickest defensive midfielders out there. Does not make enough tackles... are you kidding me? Hes all over the place, he would tackle his own grandma if he could and he would run through a brick wall for the cause. Hes an absolutely superb player. He does not slow down our attacks at all, he keeps the ball moving quickly, another absolute nonsense statement. Hes a monster, to say he isnt strong is a joke. Tell me who is stronger then, Sergio Busquets? haha i give up.
