de jong to napoli?

The guy doesn't have to agree with you all. I too don't think De Jong is WC. He is no better than Huddlestone, Lucas Leiva or Song. They all bring different advantages to the game, but their overall contributions are about the same. Bluemooner just overstate De Jong's impact.

Clearly, Sabster is just reacting to the overstatement. I have nevert once heard him call De Jong shaite. Even a idiot knows De Jong is not shaite.

I disagree with Sabster, De Jong is a better player than Micheal Carrick. Yet I also agree that he is overated on Bluemoon. The player on the field just isn't the one described on this fora

who would you prefear in front of our defence : de jong or fellaini ?
I'd vote Felliani anyday. Just a better all round player.

Seriously mate, you are talking absolute garbage. To consider Lucas Leiva, Huddlestone and Song on the same shelf as De Jong is beyond laughable. As for Fellaini, he is nowhere near as good as De Jong, what because he strides forward more than De Jong?

Put it this way, De Jong is fantastic and i mean FANTASTIC every season and im sure 80% of City fans on this forum will agree with me on this one. If you cannot see what De Jong offers to our team, i would go as far as to say you are retarded. Hes an absolute monster and a class act. Wears his heart on his sleeve, rarely gives the ball away, gives us a lot more penetration and he never stops working all game, hes a truly world class player. He is one of the last players you can criticise. As for Montolivo or any other flashy player you would want over De Jong, i will guarentee if we were to get him and he was to replace De Jong, that he wouldnt have half the impact De Jong has on our team, not even HALF. De Jong is a hard man and a technically great player all in one. City fans absolutely love him and i for one, absolutely love the man.

When you tally the averages for his game to game ratings over a season, you'd find it is commensurate to those of Huddlestone, Song, and Leiva. His tackles are flashy in that he goes in with intense force to the delight of the fans. And the tackles are remembered often. But others accomplish similar goals by other means.

He is a good tackler, who passes the ball well and defends admirably. But he is not special. He is not fast, athletic or tall. Does not make quick decision on the ball, and is often too cautious (or worse, doesn't see the play). A good player but in no way dynamic.

And that comment has probably proved, that you and Sabster are one and the same person,as someone else suggested !

Get the mods to check if you must.
Please. Why even dignify such a comment with a response.

This is exactly the point I made earlier, a difference in opinion responded to with a childish Ad Hominem attack. Off with their heads, for they don't agree with us. Laughable really

You're right! He isn't tall. Send the prick back, I never thought of it like that. He just isn't tall. Sell him, and sell Silva whilst we're at it. Let's buy.........Fellaini, he's tall, yeeeeaaaahhhh!

when you are building a team you have to think ALSO to put the right body in some positions.

even the barca of the fuckyng dwarf play a tall body in front of their defence

I don't think its as simple as saying Barca have a tall holding midfielder so we have to have a tall holding midfielder. Makelele is seen as one of the best players to have played that role and he was short, I don't think Diarra is particularly big either, or Gattuso. If he was a centre half I could see your point but then Mascherano has been playing at centre half for Barca so does that mean we should play with a 5ft 6 centre half?

in the current football always more often the DM have to drop in the middle of the two CD , expecially if you play with attackyng full backs , so if he is tall is better.

but , by the way , would you like to play a 5ft terrific goalkeeper ?

is hyperbole another word for "your usual bollocks"? You just made it up to patehetically try and back up your shit views; how many live City matches did you honestly get to last season?

Another Ad Hominem attack congrats

Every London league game so 5.

5 games and yet you see everything and know everything! You really do post in the most unbelievably arrogant know-all way; everything you post is in that style - never an inkling of "in my opinion", just black and white, Sabster knows everything. You are an obnoxious, self-opinionated windbag, and whilst I do not resent your opinion, I strongly resent the way that you express your opinion

Cmon haven't you had to deal with these kind of people before? He's the same as that know-it-all kid we had all in school. The who always thought he was right but really knew fuck all :/ Same shit, different day.

That is complete BS.

They think he is their best player by a distance and all of them think he is alot better than De Jong.

Shakatak or whatever he's called was on here yesterday and said he didn't rate him. Have a look on their forums. they'd be happy to bring in a few quid selling Fellaini but don't want to lose Baines.
They think he's their best player ? Utter fucking bollocks.

I know alot of everton fans and have read their forums occasionally.

So you're a Blue Dipper then, given that you are so in touch with their fanbase that you know what all of them think?

You really are ridiculous, your pathological anti-De Jong bias has reached such levels that you'll now present a guess as fact to further your agenda.

I am sorry I no said one fucking ANTI-DE JONG thing ever.

You are a FUCKING joke.

I am not saying we should sign Fellaini but he is IMO better than De Jong.

The Majority of you suffer for a sever pathological De-Jong-Is-Perfect--And-Any-Sort-Of-Criticism-Means-That-Someone-Is-Saying-He-Is-Shit-Syndrome

How can you say he is better than De Jong? He isnt even consistent for a start. De Jong RARELY has a bad game, hes that good. Him and Kompany are the spine of the team and for you to also favour Balo over Tevez is even more laughable. Wake up!

Jesus christ, they ALL think Arteta is better than Alonso. They are deluded scouse imbecile's.

Think you caught the wrong end-of the stick about Balo and Tevez - I was simply pointing out that stats in reference to points per game can easily be incorrect.

Obviosly I believe that Tevez>>>>Balotelli ATM

Bit beside the point but no I'm quite happy with Hart! I disagree about the height thing I really do, if we have 2 commanding centre halfs then De Jong (or any other DM) doesn't have to drop in to win headers. De Jong plays deep but he is never as deep as the centre backs. If you'd have been to the City games last season you'd appreciate how important De Jong is to City (I'm not having a go there, I realise you're in Italy!) .

His passing is top notch, hes a tidy footballer, he protects the defence superbly, hes very classy on the ball, so strong, he's a very intelligent player who reads the game superbly, hes a big game player and he gives City so much penetration. Without De Jong, we lack urgency and steel and any team in the Prem would love to have him. If you cannot see that, then De Jong really has knobbed your bird.

Dax, I can see your point about people being entitled to a different opinion to the masses. But that only stretches so far.
If I saw a mate's newborn baby my opinion may be that the nipper is freakishly ugly....but if I said so surely that would cause upset and offence from the parent.

The same kinda thing applies here. NDJ has become so much more than a City player to us. He is our kith and kin.
So whilst someone is entitled to say he is on a par with Carrick...that's like saying my mum is as attractive as Pat Butcher.
Its an insult basically. Can you not see this?
