bollocks. we are paying 130,000 a week to cambiasso and zanetti , 170,000 to milito , 200,000 to sneijder , and 100,000 to samuel and (oh my god) chivu.
they are all phantoms , zombies.

2,5M euros my cock

Er, what?

Sneijder is on 6 million euros a year (post tax), Milito about 4.5-5...

Chivu and Samuel - after their recent renewals - both come in under 2.5m euros a season..... That was the condition for renewing chivu. He was on 3.5-4, now he's on 2.5 I believe. (Though that renewal I severely disagree with)

Cambiasso is on about 3.5m a season, Zanetti about the same....

sneijder 6,5M after tax
milito 5,5M after tax
zanetti and cambiasso 4,5M after tax
samuel 3M after tax
chivu 2,5M after tax for a croky
all in euros

then we still are paying julio cesar 4,5M after tax , maicon the same etc

this is the sad truth.

Yes, your numbers are roughly correct. I don't have the precise numbers on Zanetti and Cambiasso but its something like that.

Chivu and Samuel have both dropped in wages after their renewals...

We've also offloaded the following:
Forlan 4m
Zarate ~2.5
Lucio 4m
Cordoba 3.5
Muntari 3m

off the top of my head

Our wage budget has been slashed between 15 and 20% this summer - and if Maicon, Cesar, Stankovic, and Pazzini all leave (which is a possibility) then thats another 33m off - or about another 15-20%.

I'm not saying EVERYONE above 2.5m is going - in an ideal market, the best would stay (Milito, Sneijder, Zanetti, and Cambiasso from that list) - but that any new signings will be under the 2.5m wage & on more bonus based contracts than traditional

Can someone please tell me the logic here.

De Jong has 1 year left of his contract, and Inter is going to buy him for 6-8mil.

We bought him for something near 20 mil when he had a HALF YEAR left of his contract.

Surely after joining City he has become a better, and more known player. BUT WE ARE LETTING HIM GO THIS CHEAP? HOW?!

I'm so sick of this piss poor transfer business.

Keep him for god sake.

As I said earlier I think his (previous?) connections with Kia Joobachian have not helped his case. I hope we keep him.

in an ideal market we should had got rid of ALL them the day after 2010 CL final.

and now maybe we could have had a new competitive team with the likes of balotelli and destro and coutinho and many other young player with a future and maybe able to run more that that single mile per game cambiasso is running (or better , is walking..)

It's all about trimming the wage bill while bringing in younger faces. If we don't sell him now he leaves on a free, renew his contract and the wage bill goes up plus he is on the books for his inevitable decline.

So you want to sell him and bring in a replacement, who will then be on similar wages if not more...? De Jong literally turned 27 a month ago, he has 5+ years at this level ahead of him. Holding onto assets that you already have, rather than finding new ones - is actually smarter business.

As far as I am aware Kia does not and never had represented Nigel - am I mistaken in that belief? Kia represents Carlos and Carlos is still a City player

Agree with this.

We suck at selling players its pathetic almost.

part two, why are we linked with players that will not improve us? when player that will are available and for reasonable amounts.

the one in charge for our transfer dealings and strategy this summer have some explaination to do.
