Fuck em!
De Rossi is the perfect player for us. Him and Yaya would be unstoppable in midfield, he is a classy playmaker and a tackling, defensive warrior in one.

It would be like us buying back De Jong, mating him with Xabi Alonso, putting him though the Ivan Drago training program, sewing on a terrific beard and then playing him alongside Yaya.

We would then be an Eden Hazard type player away from the perfect team. De Rossi and a wide creative player and we will piss the league, and have a very good go in Europe next season.

Thats great from a fans perspective, vastly superior players being integrated into our team..... however it doesnt solve the fact that we 'wasted' 35m on players unneeded or not good enough, and who are on very generous contracts while taking up valuable squad place.

So who's to blame for this fiasco?

The kid who's just been 'moved' from his position.

Had enough now. If Marwood really was in charge of acquiring Rodwell, Sinclair and Garcia he wants kneecapping and fucking off. I Garcia is a good player and needs time but Rodwell wasn't even a first team player at a midtable club and Sinclair was let go by Chelsea and part of a championship team that over achieved last year. So we have a sub and a player let go by an equal team and they are seen as adequate signings for a championship winning team. Unbelievable. Yet some blinkered tossers even made a thread in the Bluemoon section saying what a success it had been lmao!

Garcia suits Spanish football much better.
Has Paul Scholes been too old for the last 10 years? When you're as good on the ball as him you can play well in to your late 30s.

Sinclair is on 45k p/w and Rodwell 55k p/w so it should be easier to sell them than it was with 100k-per-week-for-nothing-guys.

He was available for free last summer but he signed new contract, let him stick with his love now by cheering his team mates from the bench.

Don´t know about Sinclair and Garcia but RM have been interested in Rodwell for 2 years, he and Platt used to watch him play for Everton. It´s clear that Rodwell is RM´s signing. It wasen´t to long ago when people wanted Rodwell to be a regular after his debut against QPR and praised him to the heavens and now some fans? want to get rid of him.... Not only him but people who have served us well such as Milner and Barry. You can´t have worldclass players on every position, it´s impossible to keep them all happy.

So let me get this right, the manager didn't want these players but he was forced to agree to their purchase evn though it would be detrimental to his management ability and undermine his position?

Really?

Just to clear up for everyone that this wasn't the case!!!

Almost it was, if I remember good. He signed new contract in January when he was in last months of his contract and could go on free in summer. Or at most he was in last year of the contract.
