Were I inclined enough to be desperate about this, I would think of DDR's last press conference as a half baked fan-briefing session. But honestly, this just won't be happening and certainly not by Friday. Maybe it will be resurrected in the January window, if we've managed to get through the CL group stages.

Not quite correct - Danamy, who is probably the most trusted ITK currently, stated (quite a few hours and pages ago) that we were still giving it a go. This is what caused the further revival of the thread.
