And I'd like to point out that the first thing we heard about Kompany signing last summer was a report on Hamburgs offical site that basically wished Kompany the best of luck at his new club - Manchester City

de rossi would be an amazing addition... him and de jong in front of the defense would make it hard for any team to get passed. and putting kompany in the back would be great addition to height on the back line to stop a lot of the bigger strikers. for me de rossi would change the whole team, but thats just my opinion.



ps i believe this rumor is total BS, just because from what i have heard is Roma is being bought by someone else and most likely will have the money to keep these players

look at the bits in bold I was trying to make a point that the club will be trying to keep ANY deal quiet until it's done

and at the end of the day this thread is quite possible a wind up and I'm sure the will be many more before the end of the transfer window
