Thought his release clause was £35m We have supposedly offered 42 m euros.

idiotic from them if they turn it down to be honest! i would imagine its a take it or leave it offer as well.

absolute rubbish, we've made attempts to cut our cloth accordingly all summer, and now we're offering over the asking price for a player. not having it at all

not seen it picked up anywhere else though, and for a potential deal of this size I would have expected it to be reported elsewhere if it had any real legs - hope I am wrong though
