Someone on here asked earler what Roma fans thought about DDR. Well to a man they love him and hero worship him, which is understandable as he is by a country mile their best player and biggest asset. Regarding if he would leave them, they seem to be split. You have to understand that we made a very serious attempt to get him last year, and many thought that we were certain to go back again in January, and so many believe that his new contract was rushed through to dissuade this and out of his loyalty to the club to ensure that they got full value for him.
As for the concerns regarding his age/speed well, part of our sucess story last year was that in the main it was we who dictated the pace of games, and we tend to slow the game down. That lot from over the oad have little problem trusting the legs of a 37 year old and we are on here debating the legs of a guy who is twice the player and 8 years his junior......................Really!

It is a fans forum tbf. Apart from being handsome and witty the vast majority of city fans are pretty intelligent as well. Terefore even if we were in for Messi we'd be debating the matter, which is no bad thing.
