Was he as pivotal to Barca as he is now for us? No.

Please answer the question

The value of footballers who play at UCL level is always higher than those who play for teams that struggle to make it to EUROPA . I can't put a definite price tag on Yaya toure anyway and i believe we shouldn't make the mistake of comparing Yaya to DDR . DDR is great but yaya is on a level beyond greatness.
My question is, if City were to sell Yaya how much do you think/would like him to go for?

I already answered you . I believe YAYA is worth more than DDR , he brings more to our team than DDR gives to Roma (Basing my judgement on the last 2 seasons, When yaya joined us ) PLUS he plays at UCL level . We shouldn't compare the both of them. I am not against us getting DDR i am in support of this BUT for a reasonable price .

Oh by the way why would Kolorovs agent come to Manchester to talk about a player who still has two years on his contract left? Can't weight that up at all, agents would normally talk to the buying club not the selling one surely, unless they are negotiating his loyalty bonus.

You did not answer me before.

So you would say Yaya is worth what? Put a number on it.

-- Aug 17th, '12, 15:42 --

Have SSN mentioned it at all today?

So the only news ia still just the one tweet from that SkySports bloke?

Plus the views of this thread, and prayers offered that he will join, but that is about it. Didn't the Aguero thread start off something similar last year?

About the same price as Torres AND that's because of what he does for the team PLUS he is a UCL player.

Why does it concern you so much ref the fee ? Do you not trust our superb management team,to come up with a package that is best suited to all parties ?
If a player can move us to another level in the CL and we can offer more than likely further trophies, all of which would bring in additional monies from TV and other benefits, then whats the problem
You seem obsessed by the price.

Cant remember mate a year is a long time in the Bluemoon Transfer Forum my heads pickled with who's coming and going!

Roll on the 31st and we can get on with until January then another 31 days of madness

Right, so you say Yaya is worth £50 million and that if the club were to sell him that's what they should be looking for, at least.

So why can't Roma feel the same about De Rossi who is as, if not more important to them?

John O'Shea was a CL player, DDR has played in the CL, just because Roma didn't qualify this year doesn't make him less of a player.
