How much would you say Yaya is worth?

I ask because he is the same age as De Rossi and is as important to us as a team, as De Rossi is to Roma (and that's not taking into account the obvious emotional/personal connection between DDR and Roma)

We got Yaya 2 years ago (when he was younger) and for a more reasonable and lower price than what Roma are asking for.

Some deals will be better than others as time goes on. But we will always have a lot of money. And as long as people know that we will have to pay a lot. There is no getting around that. This is a marathon not a sprint however. The reason Barca can get away with it is because they are Barca. We are not.....

It's just going to take time, but that doesn't mean we can't spend big every now and again to solidify our slow and steady rise. We may have won the title, but so did Blackburn in 1995. Don't get me wrong i am in support of us getting DDR , He is a complete world class Midfielder and can be used as a CB cover also but he wouldn't give us more than 4 good seasons and for the price roma are asking for , i don't really think that's good business . If Roma are asking £31m, then this can get done. It's actually an encouraging price- too much for Roma to turn down for a 29-year-old.
