Right, I like to stay optimistic before anyone batters me for this...

Is it me or does it look like the De Rossi move is coming to fruition almost. A lot of reports are coming from Italy that he's agreed terms with us and Roma just need to accept our fee. It seems to me the pace is picking rather rapid.

This is a lot different to Hazard and Van rapist because there are no other clubs we are competing against. Its just us vs Roma and their fans.

So am I wrong to optimistic and or does it look realistic with all the ITKs now starting to claim this is almost done (they remember the BM forum is dangerous place these days for ppl who are WUM).

The only thing for me is it hasn't really hit the british press yet but they are still in the RVP wankfest. I have been optimistic, pessimistic, optimistic and back to pessimistic and again with the stuff being printed today optimistic. There may be ITKs out there on the internet ether but with the emotions involved in this deal I won't be jumping up and down till he is on the plane on his way for his medical. The more optimistic you get the bigger the disappointment. (Just been mentioned on talkshite).

The only ITK is Daniele De Rossi himself. We have done our part, we offered an excellent deal to both player and club.

One other thing is if he is ready to give up his captains arm band, to become one of the guys. At City Kompany, Hart, and Yaya are the leaders of the team. At Roma he is the final voice in club house.
