Just in from work and can't be trawling through 80 pages so for a quick update there is a press conference called by Roma - yes?

If they're going to announce he's staying then I presume we have already been told and so I would expect City to leak this out to avoid another Kaka debacle unfolding publicly. Therefore this leads me to believe he is going to tell his Roma fans how much he loves them but he's leaving for the good of Roma with the finances involved as this is an offer to good for them to turn away.

Ask the pizzaman for an update.

The most important information in the entire thread was that all major Roma players have held their own press conferences this season and De Rossi's is simply next.

That doesn't mean this transfer is dead though, just nowhere near imminent.

Personally I think we should gazump Bayern for Martinez if this a is no-go.
This transfer is not dead it's just sleeping. ;)

The reason Roma have a press ..............

Sorry can't be arsed again someone will be along any moment

edit

someone will be along before I type this out with much quicker typing speed than me, I can only assume they have quicker hand and finger movement because of continued exercise through watching way too much porn.

You are late by 5 minuts ;)

This is how I see it, in jan we went for him, rumour was 12 mill. No were near enough to appease the fans his sale was worthwhile. But we offered a massive jump in wages that were to good to turn down, so Roma offer new contract on ridiculous wages knowing we will we back in the summer at double januarys offer.
Roma get there fee and release from the mega contract, the fans realise that DDR has just brought an extra 12-15 mill on top off when he could of gone and saved a fortune on wages.
The Roma fans listen to him harp on about loyalty and where his heart is and he leaves the club in a healthy state etc etc and he walks out of the presser to a round of applause, whilst the chairman checks and re checks the bank account rubbing his hands at how good a job they have just done on MCFC.

-- Mon Aug 20, 2012 6:42 pm --

OK guys and girls

Can we just draw a line under this one for now, of course this is the transfer forum but we are going around in circles here, can we agree not to post anything until some new information comes along, otherwise it will just reach another 100 and odd pages of the same information
