Cant see him coming - he is a Roma man - seen a report that he want s low buy out fee in the event that Roma do not qualify for the chumps leage over the next few years - Roma obviously want a much larger buy out fee because of his pay rise he will be getting as part of his new contract

He will sign if he is indeed a Roma man through and through he wont screw his club over - a compromise will be found and Rossi will stay as indeed he was always likely to do so.

Dont get the logic linking the sale of Herman with the buying of Rossi - we need extra bodies regardless and come what may Herman will go.

I think you are right - never could see De Rossi leaving Roma - but always worth a try when a player of this quality becomes available (or not as seems the case!). As for Tevez - he's a none issue not part of the squad and certainly won't play - but it could put £25m in fee and £8 or 9m a year in wages on the table for use elsewhere. No idea who a possible midfield option B target could be. Personally I think we need some cover at centre back (and a long term partner for VK - but not likely to get the long term answer now) plus someone to give us a spark as an alternative to Silva - which should be Nasri but it isn't happening at present.
