ACL isn't an injury, it's a ligament there are varying degrees of injury to it, all have different recovery times. Wasn't KDB 's first one a couple of years ago about 12 weeks.
I thought did his MCL? Different thing all together. Not sure if ruptured or tear / damage have the same recovery time.

Very sad for him and hopes he makes a speedy and full recovery.

But...

If he buys in to what we’re doing and decides to knuckle down, then if he can make the last few months of the season then he will be like a new signing and could still play a massive part in whatever we achieve this year.

Get well Leroy!

The real shame about this is the pressure leroy not being an option will put on other areas in the squad. It means we have less capacity to move either raz or leroy into the middle to rest kun/Jesus, less option to play mahrez in a more central role where I personally think he'll be better than out wide where he will now have to stay. Love the way the team looks with sane down the left and raz on the right - not sure pep does though :-(

Yeh big loss, major weapon to have

"No winners here but we are the big losers. He does not play, we pay his wages, help him recover, his transfer value drops like a stone as his contract runs down. Looks like there is only one year left on his contract when he gets back playing (April, 2020?) and he will be free to talk to other clubs from Jan 2021. Bad for him, worse for us."

brutal truth from the other place

The only very potential upside is that he appreciates the efforts, support and treatment from the club compared with Bayern wishing to ‘wait and see’ how he recovers and signs a new contract.
