We will see.

I think a lot of people have forgotten he couldn't even get in the team in the second half of 18/19 and that was before Mahrez really hit form.

Mahrez has pretty much always been on the right and Sane on the left. Sane's game time was more hampered by the good form of Sterling on the left then. That isn't really the case at present.

Anyone remember when Sané couldn't play LW because Mendy were Pep's LB of choice and they filled the same purpose (to provide width and crosses) and occupied the same space on the pitch?

We could see a similar situation now when both are back. Hopefully Pep finds a way to fit both on the pitch, Mendy has been a bit more defensively since he's come back which could help things. Sterling is really out of form, I'd take anything at this point

Hope this is true.

Bayern have probably told him they'll give him an extra €20m as a signing bonus if he leaves for free in 2021.

He needs to sign a new contract or get sold this year. And make his fucking mind up. He's been pissing both clubs about for 18 months now.

You don't make £100m decisions until you have a bit more certainty than either club has at the moment.

When Sun got a similar injury City gave him a contract straight away out of loyalty for a good servant, an admirable move by Keegan, but now the figures involved mean he won't get the sort of contract he wants on the table without proving he is back.

Regardless if he can get back up to speed for the remainder of the season, even a half fit sane coming on for the remaining 20 minutes will be enough to scare the sh*t out of any full back.

Will be a vital impact player for the upcoming cup ties.
