I usually dont mind when players decide to leave - I was gutted about SWP when he let but understood, gutted when Vinne did last year but completely respected it and so on and so on
However. - this leaves a really bad taste in the mouth for a number of reasons
1. B.Munich's behaviour - through the media who ahev completely encouraged it, they have repeatedly and publically tapped him up - and what is worse no one will challenge them on it and they will be allowed to get away with it again and again.
2. Sane himself - Ive never been convinced of his conviction towards us and this proves it - he will come up with the usual shit about prospects of playing for Germany, playing for is boyhood team, playing in his homeland etc etc ad nauseum and some of them might even be true hower the one that most (including Sane) will ignore is that he doesnt have the bollocks to fight for his place in the team. HIs ego (and anyone who has a tattoo of themselves on their skin is all about ego) cannot stand to be challenged by Pep wanting more from him -he couldnt take the bollockings he got from the sidelines when he failed to track back all the time and the subsequent place on the bench -he couldnt take being dropped!
3 Its hugely about the money as well - he will vastly improve his wages. - will any media mention this? - i doubt it -if it was the other way around it would be the leading headline.
If we draw them next year int he champs league i cant wait for him to come up against Kyle Walker - one of very few defenders who could cope with his pace and one who I have no doubt will want to kick him into row z in the first few minutes.
