He could be outstanding and had a great spell for a time but also had games when he was disappointing. Sorry to see him go as he is definitely an asset but I don’t think it’s the end of the world.
It will be interesting to watch the rest of his career and see how it goes. Hopefully the injury won’t have lost him half a yard of pace.

No surprise here. Personally I moved on from him a long time back. He is a sulker, thinks he is too good to ever sit on the bench and wants to be a flat track bully in a pub league. Fair enough, it happens. So much talent, so little character.

Think it's time for him to go. I wouldn't play him again, not out of spite just he doesn't want to be at city anymore which tells me he won't be giving his all. That's not acceptable when we have still loads to play for. If we can double our outlay, good business. Sell this window and move on!

Bayern are a very nasty club by the way. Apparently they are having some problems with PSG , they tapped up Kouassi, so the parisians told the Germans that if they wanted Kouassi then they had to offer Hernandez for a fair price....... well the Germans told them to pay 75m euros for Hernandez while at this same time expecting to get Kouassi for free! The nerve on these ones! fucking madness!

well you know that Kouassi can leave for free? Bayern doesn‘t need to negotiate with PSG or did I miss something? Don‘t know wha‘s wrong with that. His contract is up - it‘s the fault of PSG not trying harder or giving him better options.

Beside that it‘s quite funny that people are mad that Sané leaves. He is too good to sit on the bench. When he came on he played good and still didn‘t start. Imagine selling Sané to operate with Mahrez.

Disappointing to see Leroy leaving he was outstanding for us major part of our huge success under Pep. I'm more annoyed the fact City have just let all this unfold with nothing said. We should of done Bayern for tapping up Sane. We're far to nice as a club sometimes.

Here's hoping Leroy leaves with a bang playing a part in the Champions League.

All the best Leroy.

Fuck off! Kouassi was about to negotiate with PSG and then the Germans came along to turn his head, its fucking bullying and tapping up and then they had the nerve to offer Hernandez for 75m. Bayern are scums!

Good post pal /s

Thank you for the trophies sane , shame he doesn’t want to stay and become a legend at city , but totally understandable him wanting to go back to Germany. No blues should slag him off !

I agree with the majority of what you've just said but I do however draw the line at him potentially running his contract down because the club he has chosen won't pay his worth, thats a milner level of a ****s trick!

The answer is for PSG to spout shite, 'oh we were willing to pay him xx but because of the stupid fee demanded we are walking away'
With any look it messes with the players head and he agitates to leave. More clubs need to do that to Bayern, us included. Make approaches for players but via the media etc. You fight fire with fire.

Not too bothered by this if I'm honest. When he came here I thought he might reach the level below Ronaldo, but that just hasn't happened. He's probably reached about 60% of the potential I thought he had. He wont be too hard to replace.

If we only look at it from the football perspective I just Don't see why he would go to Bayern... imagine if he can't replicate his form from the last 2 seasons.. The Bayern board, Bayern fans and German media will slaughter him.. after just 2 bad games! It's insane!
Eh? He’s going to go there and win 6+ league titles easy in his home country whilst quadrupling his wages (at least). He’ll have full confidence in his own ability and will be playing in a league full of lesser teams in comparison to England

Good luck to him as he is finally leaving. It is his home country and his mother and the power to be at Bayern and German football club made sure his head was turned and in hindsight looks like he chose an easier option to play for BM.
City gambled and this one time we failed and are now losing a genuine talent. But these happen in football and all luck to Sane.

The only thing the club shouldn't forget is the despicable attitude of Bayern in all this and if time comes may be City should teach those arrogant tax dodgers a lesson or too.

Personally don't see this as a big loss, maybe only that we will receive a reduced fee. Leroy's best performances have mainly come off the bench so he was never a guaranteed starter.
Still got a lot of potential but I have doubts he has the desire to reach the very top.

Big opportunity now for us to bring in some real competition for Raz, Bernie and Mahrez.

The bigger issue now is that in the space of 3-4 years we’ve lost 2 world class game changers in Sancho and Sane. They both wanted to leave under Pep.
They cost £37 million between them and the sales figures are a pittance compared to the pre COVID market price of £250 million combined.
I love Pep but we can’t keep in losing talents like this

Not sure how you can be annoyed with City? Improved terms have been on the table for a long time, he's wanted out for a while.

Potential to be an absolute super star, loved watching him play , must admit he can sulk , hopefully we get a decent fee. Good luck to him except when he plays against us , that’s football.
