My step dad was a retired firefighter spent most of his years at Withington, he took his life on 6th June, 4 years ago in the same way. He was also a fellow blue. We ne'er really know what goes on in people's minds and the turmoil they go through, often silently, especially those in the armed and emergency services. RIP Jamie, and to his friends and family I send my condolences from someone who has gone through what you have, you never forget, but with each day the pain eases and you realise they are finally at peace with themselves
