Decent Bar Staff

summats been planned for the south stand so that people are served quick. the brochure basically said its the place to be if you wanna have a good scoop during the match

Maybe it varies around the ground, the staff have improved vastly in east level 1 over the last couple of seasons. I'm no beer expert but the bitter is generally acceptable as long as there's not too long between home games, any more than a week between games and it has to be bottled cider.

Apparently not.

Are they not putting in them mulit-pint systems in the South Stand at least? I'm sure I read that somewhere. That'll do me.

They might be saving it for the "premium" experience next year, along with the topless waitresses.

The bar staff are fine but the prices are a joke.

you must be joking it's a shambles.

Maybe you should watch the game from one of the restaurants if you want to be waited on hand and foot, a football ground is what it is and most of the time it is drunken football fans who just want a quick pint which the bar staff provide to a reasonable standard.

I think when people refer to ' decent' bar staff they are actually having a dig at the nationality of the bar staff which to me is pretty poor, fair enough there might be a bit of a language barrier when ordering a pint but it is soon overcome.

Quick being the main point. You have to be at bar after 35mins when it just opens. If you go up at halftime its takes at least 10 mins to get served.

Its a football ground with 45,000 people in it!! Its not the Dog n Duck with Arthur sat at the bar.

Maybe tracks at the bar so an orderly queue can be formed would help but it would still take a while to get served.

Its not the 45,000 that is a problem it is the staff not understanding english!!

I go to a bar in London called Tiger Tiger

Staffed by Polish girls................f'n service is incredible, sooooo fast, sooooo pleasant

Management at COMS need to realise that its not a cheap day out at the match any more and they have to provide the service to go with the prices.

anyway serve em quicker an the more money you will take

Have thought this myself, 4 or 5 queues per bar, one staff per queue taking the cash and sorting the change while others pull the beer.
