Decent Bar Staff

Maybe you should watch the game from one of the restaurants if you want to be waited on hand and foot, a football ground is what it is and most of the time it is drunken football fans who just want a quick pint which the bar staff provide to a reasonable standard.

I think when people refer to ' decent' bar staff they are actually having a dig at the nationality of the bar staff which to me is pretty poor, fair enough there might be a bit of a language barrier when ordering a pint but it is soon overcome.
language barrier half of them lot are in a fucking coma.

Have you ever tried serving a pint when in a coma? Give them some credit.

Not really mate but I know you will not change your opinion, I just think you should remember a football ground is a football ground not a 5 star hotel and restaurant.

Hope you get 'better service' next season mate.

nobody expects 5 star hotel service but the same standard as mcdonalds would be both ok & a huge improvement.

know one's asking for 5 star treatment, but i expect a decent pint for three an half qiud.

they need to be taught how to pull a pint. and to the top aswell. everytime iv been to the bar iv had to ask em to fill it right to the top. im not arsed about the price or the service (within reason) aslong as i get what i asked for

I was told that kick off times these days mean that this is no longer a job with regular hours or regular days.

The only people who will take these low paid jobs are what you get - mainly foreign students and recent immigrants.

So nothing is going to change, unless they improve the beer-pouring technology.

It's always surprised me that City don't seem to be tuned into this - your average workng class blue's "Matchday experience" is a few pints and a balti pie.

If you make it so people don't have to queue for ages or miss part of the game then you will make a lot of blues a lot happier.

It really is that simple. That said, they're supposedly putting in extra beer dispensers and that for next season so hopefully things will improve.
