I wouldn’t disrespect a former City premier league winner like that. Nigel was a very good player, granted not a 10 second 100 metres sprinter but that wasn’t his role.

Might be obvious to you, as far as I’m concerned there is only one De Jong and that was the one who was a defensive midfielder who played for Manchester City, not some 21 year old unproven player who has played in a league considerably less challenging to the one Nigel played in. Is that ok with you?

People choosing which country to play for, via grandparents like in Rice's case or residency like what happens in Rugby is frankly just wrong. Changing your mind after you have played is crazy.
