Good fun while it lasted. City have plenty of time to land a player. Arsenal’s media can spin it all they want. Anyone who hates city will feel it’s a victory and again who cares?

The evaluation was higher than we deemed acceptable, Phillips must of said no thanks I’m staying to fight for a role and Rice didn’t seem fussed either way as long as he gets out of West Ham.

On the whole, it looks to me like rice did not do enough to convince us he only wanted city. The price went up and we fucked off quickly.

Give Phillips a chance and move on to a more attacking midfielder. John stones will also take some shifting if we buy gvardiol and he retains his hybrid role.

Big chance creation is then only issue I have but Phil might sort that out.
