If a club doesn't pay their debt payments to other clubs on time they will most likely go into administration with a -12 point deduction. Could also receive a transfer ban and possibly getting banned from playing in Europe. With other words, a club like Arsenal would definitely not agree to a payment structure and then fail to pay.

Tally’s with what I was told was happening. We literally made zero contact with his camp until very late in the day. To have made a deal we’d have had to kill the arsenal bid by overspending and city seemed on the fence about the whole deal, so not going in too big probably also helped make Rice more comfortable with an arsenal move as he wants to be wanted and to be fair to them they’ve made it crystal clear he’s their guy.

Stones can do it anyways for us so it’s not the end of the world if Gvardiol gets done.
