He prefers Arsenal because they think he does. Fact of the matter, if both clubs want him, both teams will have to bid, set up finances, pay plans, bonus schemes, work on wage structure, agent fees. The lot. This can take immense time.If he genuinely "prefers Arsenal", what's stopping him doing interviews angling/ hinting at going up the Arse?
If he wants away, that'd be cause for the price to drop and WH accepting the bid.
It doesn't look like he's forcing anything through to me...
If both offers are on the table, and then he says Arsenal, then that's it.
Arsenal's interest in him has been everywhere, surprised it wasn't at the coronation. If the deal isn't done yet, it means the proverbial tail is still up.
