Rice 100, Gvardiol 85, Kovacic 25. Still cash there but I’m sure we have sales to conduct too first.

Phillips £30-40m
Cancelo £30-40m
Laporte £30-40m
Doyle £20-30m
Borges £15-20m
Breckin £10-15m

probably a load of other youngsters as well?

Its likely going to be a 100m deal. Its not something that can be done in a short space of time. What I find significant, is we are the only team to actually bid for him. I genuinely believe Rice prefers Arsenal, and in this moment, Arsenal and West Ham are negotiating the terms of the deal. West Ham have dried to drum up a 'bidding war' but I think Arsenal have called their bluff as we know were Rice wants to play next season. I think City's interest is passive and dependent on too many variables, such as sending Phillips to West Ham, or anywhere for that matter when its becoming clear Kalvin has no desire to leave.

Sounds a bit "another point gained" to me :)

i think you genuinely believe your own hype and what YOUR media are telling you with what you want to hear and believe? You have NO track record in the last 15-20 of winning anything besides a top 4 race and Rice wants to win trophies NOW! We might not do a deal like you say without Phillips going but i think you are looking through red tinted glasses if you genuinely believe he is crying in a corner only wanting you guys and begging Sullivan to only sell him to you.

GunnerGer doesn’t fall into this bracket , something about Arsenal fans that is quite weird.
Enjoy their pain !
“We would have been the best team in PL history bar none”

I heard this shite before. The Lance Armstrong thing only works if cyclist used to be allowed to openly take as much performance drugs as they could then as they got older they decided to change the rules at their behest to catch poor Lance out.

I don't think city need rice I'd rather have a like for like gunndy replacement but this bullshit Rice wants Arsenal who says so and trust me if that was the case he would already be there

Are they not all leaving though!
Walker, cancelo, Bernardo, Phillips…..
Be £500m by end of the window
You missed out Mahrez and Laporte. I can honestly see them all going, with us signing 3 or 4 new players and adding some academy talent to the squad.

If he genuinely "prefers Arsenal", what's stopping him doing interviews angling/ hinting at going up the Arse?

If he wants away, that'd be cause for the price to drop and WH accepting the bid.

It doesn't look like he's forcing anything through to me...

It might not even be West Ham, there are offers coming in now for Kalvin.

I just don't think we will/can do the Rice deal if he doesn't make up a decent portion of the fee.
We’re just made £300mill in prize money on top of a low net spend over the last 5 years.
We also still have Cancelo and Laporte fee’s along with some fringe player fees. We should be in a position to do it and deal with Kalvin’s situation separately!
