City may have asked to be kept informed, which has in turn been used by WHU to try and extract the fee/terms they want.

You have me beat, as I was born in late ‘63, so it was ‘69 before me and my older sister could go together! One of the tea ladies in the Main Stand used to take us in with her a couple of hours before the game and we’d run errands and help her out until she walked us over to the Platt Lane End. Sat on those planks for a few years, then we got a couple of Season Tickets in the North Stand when they put the seats in it, then later on I used to stand with my gf’s Dad and his mates on the Kippax. Happy, happy days!!

Now, it’s Level 2 East Stand for my bro, but my sis has mobility issues, so they’ve moved her around by the boxes between CB and North Stand. She loves it over there because she sees lots of “people”!!

Anyway, it’s mostly NBC (PL) CBS (CL) & ESPN (Cup games) for me nowadays, but baseball?? NEVER!!

My bro and his wife go everywhere with the team and made a nice long trip out of their Istanbul CL Final adventure!

P.S. If I had to pick a US Sport, it’d be hockey!!!
