Amount not rejected outright but structure has been rejected, over to you city.

Why are we assuming City will pull out now? Am I missing something?
Common sense says we don’t go higher than Arsenal as he’s clearly not worth it. But the market doesn’t operate on what we think so yeah only City know if they’ll pull out or not. Maybe we’re truly invested in this

This is biggest bullshit transfer ever this guy Sullivan doesnt give a fuck about payment structure,he want Arsenal and City to do bidding war and when he somone give up next offer would be accepted.
Arsenal offer them two offers with less money with bad paying structure, and now they got more money who did they expect that to get better paying structure come this is joke.
They are not serious!

So, the magic number has been reached. Sullivan, at least, isn't laughing at the number.

Anyway, Kovacic should show similar movements as Gundogan did, with less scoring. With Gvardiol, whose transfer hopefully would be completed, he and Stones can play in the middle, to rest Rodri. One more, of a winger, an attacking midfielder, or an 6/8, would be nice. Still, Foden and Alvarez would benefit by getting more minutes. The heaven hasn't fallen, yet, until the first loss.

Love how as soon as something 'goes wrong' in one of our transfer pursuits, all of Bluemoon's wet wipes are on here saying we should sign 1 of 10 randomers for a random fee.

Do you still not realise that we target specific players for specific reasons?

We won't suddenly be throwing £80m at De Jong, Barella or any other random midfielder just because Arsenal have upped their bid.

7 years of Pep and you still don't get it.
We have more than one back up for every target. Rice himself is a back up.

Something strange about that Arsenal bid. They wanted to pay 75m over 5 years, now they're offering 100m (and in the meantime, are spending big on Havertz and Timber).

Either they've found a lot of money from somewhere, or they're offering another long-term payment plan. If it's the latter, I'm not surprised West Ham aren't satisfied and want to bleed them dry.

Are they trying to raise the price for us, or scare us off?

That 110 number is maybe what they want on arsenals long term payment plan. Maybe we could get him for the 100+5 if payed quicker? Just guessing.
