No one will pay more than 8m for Gundogan
 
All those saying nzonzi I see fabinho as fairly similar but younger? Also I think we should keep gundogan if he can avoid injuries he is a very good player.
 
there's no way we will get rid off gundogan and there's no reason to he's a great player to have in the squad. Liverpool wasn't his fault it was peps.he's has some really good games for us.

Most complete CM/mobile DM in the world at the moment.
N'zonzi/Kovačić/Fred/Diawara would do.
The rest are just meh.
Weigl is just a BTEC Xhaka..But..he bossed Madrid at the Bernabeu 2 years ago though.

The problem with Gundoghan isn’t his ability - he’s a square peg in a round hole at City. In a midfield of Silva, De Bruyne and Bernardo - we try to play him as a DM but that’s not his game. On Wednesday we tried to play him wide - which was even worse. I think he’s got tonnes of ability but he doesn’t really fit with us. That said Pep knows what he can do so I wonder why we bought him in cos I can’t really see him getting games further forward - and when he has been given limited chances he’s not always performed - Burnley away being a case in point where his decision making was poor. I think it’s a big call - good player but he’s not getting used to the best of his ability and I’m not sure that’s going to change. With his recent improvement I can see Bernardo getting even more game time next season - rotating with De Bruyne and Silva - and if we sign a new DM to rotate with Fern where does that leave Gundoghan?

Signing a new DM, would not affect Gundogans playing time that much I think. He has mostly replaced either KDB or Merlin when he has played. Next season we will have Fernandinho and a new player to play DM, and KDB, Merlin, Bernardo, Gundogan (if he won't get sold) and Foden to play as attacking midfielders

All we need is someone who is technically good and young. Pep has moulded/created some of the finest CM's in living history. His transformation of KDB and Silva into the role is the most recent example of same. Dinho also playing better ball than he has for good while.

For me Weigl would be ideal for moulding and has a decent amount of experience for one so young.

I'd like a look at Tiago as well if it was possible to nab him from Bayern. Agreed on Keita, would have loved him along.
 
Nzonzi, Alcantara, Malang Sarr from Nice. Goretzka heading to Bayern increases our chance of getting Alcantara. A move for Wilshere wouldnt be bad, for 15m we should be able to get Wilshere before the world cup, he seems to have overcome his fitness issues and still has a lot of fight in him.
