Ive been saying for the last two seasons, to the Spurs fans I know, that Deli Ali is a football genius and to think that he was dropped for England at the Euros for rug head in his place.

He stated 3 of the 4 games and came on for half an hour in the other the Euro's an was utter dogshit iirc, I'm not sure him or Kane successfully controlled the ball once between them in the entire tournament. Not holding that against them as everyone is wank for England, but dropping him was no injustice (then again, everyone was dogshit, so he made it back into the team the following game)

I get the feeling the same people clamoring for Stones last year will be clamoring for Ali all summer long. Will we ever learn? Sign the best 17 foreign players possible and don't pay a single penny for English players. Let them come through the academy if and when ready. Buying English is a complete waste of money.

(I was tempted to think Walker was decent or Rose but as the season progresses they too look limited. Plus Ali comes across as a bit of a dick.)

I really don't see the hype. Will become a good player yes but he'll fall the way of most English players who never really become world class like they're projected to be.

Completely agree. He'll probably end up at Real Madrid or Barca though, I just don't think Spurs would sell to another English club, however much we offered. He'll be Real's next 'galactico' signing like Bale, and probably break the £100m mark.

Not sure why people care if he's a dick or not, we need more aggression and attitude as we still have too many soft fuckers who won't refuse to lose at tough away grounds. I know the refs have been told to get us down to 10 at the first opportunity, but we still have to stand up for ourselves. I hate to see City players backing down or taking a mouthful from some cünt like Costa or Henderson. Need someone willing to give it back in fucking spades.

And with Dele's skill and goal scoring from midfield he'd be an absolute game changer for us.
