Dele Alli

I am absolutely gob smacked at the negativity towards this wonderful gifted player.I would have him in a heartbeat and he would certainly complement our current midfielders with his vision, pace and ability to arrive in some great goal scoring positions.Come on City lets see what Levy is made of.Yes he`ll cost a mint but for fucks sake he aint 27 or 28 years of age.

Definitely, 100% this. He's definitely not a 1 season wonder. Sane , Stones etc. just had one decent seasons before their move too. Plus I think he's one of the rare talents in world football right now let alone the league, who has all around balanced attributes.

-Great finisher
-He's tall and has a great header in him. Which I think is one side of the game our squad is below average in.
-Young
-Hard Working
-Very Skillful
-English, helps the HG quota
-Plus he'll bring some bite to our midfield.

Yes, he has the tendency to lose his temper sometimes, but he is just 20 years old. Surely he'll learn with time.
Plus didn't we used to love Nige for the same thing?

That is the position we need least, I honestly don't see the point at all. Any move that makes it harder for us to play Kev in his proper position is a bad move in my book. (Silva is already obscenely good "backup" in that position and we have an absolute prodigy in Brahim waiting in the wings)

Another pacey winger to compliment Sterling and Sane would be top of my attacking wish list, to go with an entire new defence and one or even two proper midfield players (players who control the game from deep, not attacking midfielders). As far as my thinking, it's like some peoples continued obsession with Isco. It's a shit load of money for an undeniably great player who wouldn't really even get in our starting 11, when we have so many places that desperately need bolstering.
I don't think we need another winger, if we can keep Nolito at the club and add Roberts then we're stocked in those positions, especially with a few coming through from EDS level in the next year or two. We need to concentrate on the full back positions which have been neglected for the past few years as well as looking at adding another CDM and CB.

Well I for one agree with everything you say.People say we don`t need him,but every now and again if a top quality player comes along you don`t bypass him.Yes I think we ALL agree that money needs to be spent on a brand new defence, but I bet City would somehow "find" any additional monies for a player of his calibre.
I suppose with Sergio leaving us this summer, means that Messi will not be coming,so we`ve money to spend there. ;)

I really don't see the hype. Will become a good player yes but he'll fall the way of most English players who never really become world class like they're projected to be.

Ive been saying for the last two seasons, to the Spurs fans I know, that Deli Ali is a football genius and to think that he was dropped for England at the Euros for rug head in his place.

Yeah, I don't think we need another winger, but if we were to go for a player in those front 4 positions, that would be the area for me as that is the area we have the least depth. If either Sane or Sterling aren't fit then we are either changing the way we play by forcing Kev out there, or slumming it a bit with Navas or Nolito (compared to Aguero or Silva coming in for Jesus or Kev in the other two spots). I'm not as convinced that Roberts is definitely a guy to be relied on next season and I don't see any young wingers in the academy knocking on the door just yet (Sancho is 16, the others are all happier in the middle rather than out and out wingers).

But the priority should obviously be fullback, then another central or holding midfield player (along with a keeper and a CB). The list is pretty long before I get to attacking midfielder

I think Roberts deserves a shot, he's further ahead than Sané or Sterling were when they broke through at Schalke and Liverpool. Definitely could do a job as 4th choice. Jesus can play in the wide areas with Sergio up front as well - gives us an extra option and fits in with the coaches idea of a smaller squad with more flexible players.

Yeah I think he is at the perfect club for him, if we was to get any Spurs players.

It would be Rose, Toby and Dembele in that order for me.
