Not saying that we should buy him, but I read an earlier post say that the worst part of his game.is his vision and his passing , did he not watch the WBA game and the assist for Kane's goal. If big David had made that pass we would be wetting ourselves.
 
Spurs would not sell below 90M. Good player, with a lot of potential but not something we need right now especially at that price. A top DM is what we need in midfield.
 
The eye watering sums of money being discussed in this thread baffle me. It's sickening really that folk are happy for the Club to throw the cash about like that on a prospect. It's only a couple of seasons ago that people were suggesting Messi at those prices, and he's certainly no Messi.

Ali has a bit of a nasty streak in his game, which as others have said would be magnified ten fold at City. Plus we really don't need another attacking midfielder, and certainly not a those prices. Better off shoring up the defence than packing out the midfield. Good player, but for me, no.

Its just that as most have said we have plenty in the midfield. The only one we urgently(ish) need to start thinking about in view of his age is Silva. I don't know who could replace him but its not Delli Alli!
 
I wouldn't be surprised if this was an intended leaked story by his agent so at the end of the season he can get a revamped deal with a higher wage.

Not sure what his weekly wage is, but he is probably seen as a player that spurs should build their team around....hence his agent probably knows he can get an improved deal not long after he got one
