I like Dembele but if he lined up alongside Yaya with the usual 4 in front of them, we'd concede goals... quite a lot of goals in fact.

This.

You might as well line up Joe Hart next to Yaya & stick Barry in nets.

We are too over relient on Yaya, although he is the best player in the league by a county mile our midfield looks average without him. With Dembele he would be like Yaya as well as offering us different options. Obviously he wouldn't play him and yaya in the middle but if he did then Yaya would do the job. Also your reasoning to not sign him makes no sense when people are hoping we sign Cavani.

I haven't given any reason not to sign him.

I've just agreed that putting him & Yaya behind our usual 4 attackers would be suicide.

He would be awesome against teams who sit back and hard to break down because he can go past his man easily, and then things start opening up as he does that. Would be a good signing definately and not too expensive either, could play cm, replace yaya if he needs a rest, or he could play further up in the nasri/silva role.

Might be useful when YaYa goes to Africa Cup of Nations ^^

I saw enough last season, coupled with yesterdays performance,i'd say he could be the player we have been looking for.

Plus Agger and Sinclair,i'd be confident in retaining the title.

unless toures going whats the point, we need the defensive midfielder in rodwell or barry to help the defence out, cos without them we would concede to many goals

People seem to be writing Dembele off defensively. Only Scott Parker completed more tackles than him last season.

He musn't be on Mancini's radar or he would have been signed already.

I think Mancini still wants to be shopping at Bentley while the owners are more comfortable with Vauxhall at the moment.

Mancini doesnt look happy to me.

Yep,he's a midfield powerhouse, certainly an alternative to Martinez and DDR in that respect, him and Yaya would be very formidable.

How about a bid for him, watched him quite closely last season and he was quality but kind of
Sneaked under the radar.
Fast,skill full and strong,
What do you lads think?
