Democrat US Presidential Nominations

But Corbyn won the Labour vote but was hopeless though-out the country

I’m not sure what(if anything) can be drawn in membership votes but it makes no odds. Any self respecting Dem should be voting for anyone who isn’t Trump - never mind the revolution or whatever ‘cause my is next on the list just get back to basics. Win!

That may or may not make sense as I’m half pissed

I totally agree with your first point but mine is that if Corbyn didn’t win that Labour vote, the argument for him winning a GE is totally gone, he just couldn’t if he couldn’t win that vote.

Just as a matter of fact, your point is true.

But, as it was with Sanders, the policy they supported hangs around like a ghost after they've gone.

Is it better to vote in a smiling fool you can 'have a drink in the pub with' or someone you may dislike, but has your best interest at heart.

And this is why neoliberalism wins, time and again.

I have almost zero personal wishes for American politics, I believe we should stay out of their business as agreed in 1778.

I honestly don’t care if it’s Trump or Sanders, as long as that person doesn’t cause WW3 (I am aware Trump tried it with the assassination).

Looking in from the outside, I just don’t think Sanders would ever win.

Americans want capitalism and that’s their right.

Sanders is NOT anti-capitalism and never has been.

He wants a fairer deal for the lower classed working people; you know higher wages.

As I said earlier in this thread (& classically ignored) how can you praise and applaud key-workers, calling them 'heroes' and actively vote for a system that denies them better pay. It's here and in the States.

It's the definition of crazy and hypocrisy.
