Demonstations next week at COMS

If anyone demonstrates, they bring shame and embarassment on our club. They should think about that.

Maybe they should write polite correspondence to the club secretary containing erudite critiques of Hughes' debut season as manager here.
Why should expressing an opinion that the manager has disappointed the fans bring shame and embarassment to anyone other than Hughes himself?

Its not THE fans though,it's a small but very loud minority,remember the 10 or so at the back of the southstand & how it promted the other pricks to start singing shite about Hughes when he took a totally fucked Elano off.

They are still our fans whatever the "small but very loud minority" they supposedly represent. And the prevalence of namecalling between Blues does the atmosphere on City boards and in grounds alike, absolutely no favours.

I feel a protest of any kind is probably a fruitless expression that wont effect the desired change. However, those supporters willing to demonstrate are perfectly entitled to do so in a law abiding manner.

This would only make our club look pathetic. Yes we wanted european football next season and yes it is disappointing ending the season in this way but it could be a lot worse and given our away form it should be a lot worse, its not like we're fighting relegation. A win next week and we'll equal our best league finish in recent years.

Imo sacking hughes now would be a bad move, i honestly think it'll all come good sooner rather than later. I mean not having any european football is disappointing, yet it could benefit us. it means we won't pick up injuries in europe and can then hopefully finish higher in the league because of this. look at fulham, they've used it to their advantage.

Gives hughes the summer to work with the current players and add a few more in key areas, definitely striker/target man. Then we go into next season with a squad which is beginning to gel properly and then it should all come into place. Whilst it is frustrating in the short term, we all just need to stay positive and optimistic, stability is the key to success. Sacking him now will get us nowhere, we'll just be starting the cycle again. CTID
