Apples oranges. Is he not happy with Aguero? Fernandinho?

How have you come to the opinion that Tosin is 2 years off?
He's clearly not ready to start right now, but I have no idea how quickly he will progress under Pep, Pique was nowhere near ready to start when Pep bough him either, but he was 6 months later. So I'm just wondering how you came up with 2 years?
Looking at him and watching him play I defo think he needs a year out on loan then another back here in and around the squad as a back up but that,s my humble opinion but to go in with ota, vinny, and stones 3 players who have all had there problems with injurys.
I think he would be perfect as a 5th choice.
Traditionally you'd expect 4 CBs for a team playing 2 at a time.
Kompany's injury record would leave us exposed though so a 5th may be needed. Tosin, if Pep trusts him, would be a great person for that role. He won't care about playing time - everything he gets will be a bonus. He won't take up any squad places because he's u21. He's got tons of potential, and I think his defending is top notch - reading of the game, tackling etc. He's made mistakes in the friendlies, but they've been on the ball - I think that will go away rather quickly when everyone gets used to Pep's system.
Maybe but my only worry with that would be 1. Him getting absolutlety ripped to pieces in a big game or 2. Him being overlooked for a big game and pep playing a center mid there and destroying his confidence I think the loan route would serve him better but I trust pep to do the right thing!
But he's 5th choice CB and 18. he's not going to play in big games unless we have at least 3 CBs injured at the same time (unlikely).
And like I said before HES EIGHTEEN. And in his debut season. I really don't think he's going to have a crisis is Pep explains to him why he's choosing an experience player ahead of him in a big game - like Pep said he's got all the qualities but he's not there yet.
And I'm pretty confident Pep wouldn't play him if he wasn't ready.
The way we get injurys bucharest would be his first game
So you would want a seasoned player as your 5th choice CB? Name one who would be happy with that ! Won't even make any of the matchday squads. The way we get injurys bucharest would be his first game
He's (Tosin) at the age now though when he should be playing regularly dont you think?I think he would be perfect as a 5th choice.

He's also physically big, and strong - although I'm sure hell fill out a lot in a year around there first team.
I think the big question is who is the 4th choice - after Kompany, Stones Otamendi. Denayer is the obvious choice and u21 which is great for the squad lists. But he seems to want to play every week and may seek a move away to get that.
Meanwhile I think Mangala would love to stay, but he takes up a foreign player space, and he's seemingly being pushed out.
