It's the best solution. He gets game time and will play for a side that is in the Champions League. Whether he wants to stick around after his loan spell then that is open to debate.

Galatasaray are in Pot 3 of the Champions League so if Denayer joins them, he can look forward to high-level European football.

Seems like a strange place to go but at least he won’t want to stay there! I would have preferred a move to a PL club but the most important thing is 1, he plays every week and 2, he plays at a decent level. A PL club would not be able to guarantee him playing time whereas maybe there is some sort of commitment re playing time with this move.
PS – if they draw us in a group I assume that’s 2 CL games he would not be able to be involved with?
