MC can not afford to lose young talents and should give them a chance.
At least 30-40% of first team should be build around them, so they feel to have a future in MC, future for which they worked so hard.

I perfectly understand the emotions with putting young players in the 1st team. The managementteam will look at it in a more realistic way, knowing the player working with him on a daily basis and judging his development. If he's ready to play in the 1st team he'll play. If not, the management will no doubt talk to the player about how to go from there, either a seasons loan or more game sin the EDS.

City might persuade Suarez to extend his contract is they have enough believe in the youngster to eventually made the grade. If not, they should leave the player go. And even if they want to extend it's up to the player and his agent to decide wether he will have a future with City or somewhere else.

I hope we put in youngsters, but not just for the sake of it.

Saif must know something as he sings the praises so much. I've only seen flashes of him myself.

There's still this underlying current of folks on here who insist any prospect is going to develop and be the future of the club. When the bottom line is they need to be good enough to challenge for a place in the club that's challenging for the PL. And most of them just aren't.

Amazing how many people are prepared to sacrifice team performance to 'develop' youngsters. If they are good enough, they'll play.

As for Suarez he seems to have been here so long now my gut feeling is he aint gonna make it. Sorry.

What has Suarez done to prove that he deserves a place in the first team?

Don't see the hype around this lad, he has been really really poor in the little first team action he has had, and he hasn't been pulling up trees in the EDS.

He scored the last goal in that video. We have 4 amazing young attacking talents in Emyr, Denis, Pozo and Lopes and yet people here think that we should not 'sacrifice' team performance to nurture youngsters? Thats not our vision. Pellegrini isn't that type of manager. Did Barcelona buy Iniesta or Xavi at their peaks? No. They eased them into the first team and look at how much it has won them.

Either way I hope it doesn't turn into another Joan Roman situation, because clearly Barcelona were the winners of the deal.

He's only 19 years of age , but i have to say i agree with you ..... he hasn't really stood out enough , as of yet , to convince City that he deserves a regular squad , or first team place .... and it now looks as though he might not get the chance to either!

Also add that scoring the last goal in a 7-0 friendly win doesn't mean Juan Roman is Barca's next big hope.
